A few notes on SNLab's research training program:
Please be noted that openings for SNLab Volunteer Internship Program and Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program are only available depending on the number of actively ongoing lab projects. They are not regular programs offered to students every semester. In addition, to ensure the quality of research training provided by our lab's mentors, we usually only take 2 to 4 students for each cohort. Yet exceptions may be made depending on the nature of the related projects.
SNLab Volunteer Internship Program 2022

Speech and Neuromodulation Laboratory is looking for three volunteers and interns to assist in a speech fluency project to commence as soon as possible for 4 months.

Working time is flexible and negotiable, and availability on weekends is preferred. Interested individuals should fill in the google form (https://forms.gle/BZK42Zk2HdvUS2jTA) as soon as possible.

SNLab Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program 2023

SNLab Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program 2023 is an extension of the SNLab Volunteer Internship Program 2022. It is only open to undergraduate students who have been invited.

Undergraduate students who previously joined us under the volunteer internship program with outstanding performance, and/ or students who are currently enrolling in SHSC 4034 Fluency, Laryngectomy, and Craniofacial Anomalies, will be invited to join this research apprenticeship program selectively.
​
Similar to the internship program, this apprenticeship program is dedicated to provide research opportunities for undergraduate students in preparing their final-year projects and possible postgraduate studies.
​
By working under this apprenticeship program, candidates will hold the functional title of student RA and work on lab’s research-related duties flexibly. Candidates will also be assigned to a mentor to discuss anything regarding academic planning, career prospectus, research goals, etc.
